Haiga ( for 30 days of haiga)

Rick Daddario is having the 30 Days of Haiga bash on his blog 19 planets Art Blog just like last year in which I had participated. I would have loved nothing better than to do so this year too but have been incapacitated with circumstances beyond my control. On the other hand, I feel so wistful reading and looking at all the entries of the other participants and the ones Rick himself has been doing (which are awesome) that i thought i would post at least one haiga as a token participation for Rick's blog.So here is the one I did for September 7, the prompt word was "grandmother memories".

Awwww. This is a lovely haiku. Makes anybody start to feel nostalgic or sentimental. Thanks for sharing. :-)

Lovely photo-haiku!
I loved it.

And, you may want to edit the photo again because if you look carefully, right in the centre of the photo, what do you see?? :-)

aloha Sanjukta A. this is a beautiful haiga. thank you for playing and hooking it up to the 30 Days of Haiga.

you understand so well the connection and relationship between ku and image it is a delight to watch your work.

the Grandmother prompt has been one of my favorites so far this month in terms of the haiga that have resulted. your haiga matches the awe i have discovered around this prompt and indeed stands out.

i understand very well how our lives work and that sometimes we can not do all we would like to do. so no worries about posting or how often you post haiga to 30 Days of Haiga.

your work is exceptional imo. and i am delighted when ever you can play.

first things first and that means taking care of your life. we all have one of those and it is the very reason we can haiga. so be sure you are taking care of that first as far as i am concerned. and then play as often as it works for you to do so.

also, congratulations on your acknowledgment in the voting by the other contributors to the 2nd Haiku My Photo challenge on Blossom Rain. i know if we were to be given a 2nd vote the outcome could easily be reversed - and i would be honored to follow your entry.

again, thank you for contributing this gem to 30 Days of Haiga. aloha. - Rick.
