A hundred gourds and the hare

The second issue of A hundred Gourds is out and I am glad to be part of it in a small way with this poem:

doomed
to sleepless nights--
the hare on the moon

I usually feel very shy to self-advertise in any way, but AHG editor Lorin Ford said something about this poem which i felt i had to share with all of you. She says, " A bit of mystery and yet wonderful lightness at the same time. Basho would be proud, I think."
That's very sweet of her...but wow! this made my day!!

You can read the whole issue of AHG here

If I had a comment like that, I'd celebrate for a lifetime. Not to mention the fact that there's a rabbit in it. ;) Congratulations, I'm definitely jealous.

Thank you so much, Tawnya! Btw, what does your blog name mean? And Yousei? Is that your pen name?
